Independent Family Court Case Trauma Prevention Review Board

The Independent Family Court Case Trauma Prevention Review Board exists to protect children’s and parental rights, promote justice, and prevent abuse and identifiable trauma in family court cases.

Purpose Of This Program

We provide evidence-based resources, screening tools, AI-assisted analysis, training, and certification programs that empower professionals and advocates to quickly identify preventable trauma — especially in high-conflict custody battles, litigation, financial abuse, parental alienation, coercive control, and prolonged court processes. Our goal is to unify best practices in child and family protection with U.S. rights and penal codes, offering trauma-informed solutions that create safer, healthier outcomes for families navigating the family court system.

4 Week Course

Master evidence-based screeners & AI analysis tools

Learn ethics, boundaries, and trauma prevention strategies

Two tracks: Professional or Volunteer

Our Approach

We combine validated screeners, AI-powered analysis, and trauma-informed best practices into a clear, actionable model that anyone can learn and apply.

Rapid Screening & Assessment: Our suite of evidence-based screeners (drawn from the ECCP Pilot Program) allows advocates to quickly identify areas of harm, damage, or preventable trauma.

AI-Assisted Insights: We train certified advocates to use AI tools alongside the screeners for deeper, faster case analysis.

Trauma-Informed & Rights-Based: Every tool and training emphasizes safety, ethics, professional boundaries, and alignment with child protection standards, parental rights, and relevant U.S. legal frameworks.

Two-Track Certification: We offer both a Professional Advocate track (for those building a practice) and a Volunteer Advocate track (for those who prefer to remain anonymous with lower liability).

Data-Driven Impact: Through our Task Force, we collect pre- and post-program data, track outcomes, and publicly share findings to drive real systemic change.

Practical & Sustainable: We provide ready-to-use templates (introduction letters, referral processes, intake forms), ongoing community support, and marketing materials so advocates can immediately begin helping families.

This practical, replicable approach turns awareness into action — giving families trauma-informed alternatives to traditional family court battles.

AI Analysis Methodology

Our AI Analysis system is a powerful, trauma-informed tool that works hand-in-hand with the Review Board’s validated screeners to deliver fast, accurate, and actionable insights into family court cases.

How It Works (Step-by-Step)
Input Phase Certified advocates enter the results from our standardized screeners along with key case details provided by the family. All information is handled with strict confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

Structured Prompt Engineering The AI is guided by carefully designed, evidence-based prompts that incorporate established clinical and legal frameworks for childhood trauma, parental alienation, coercive control, financial abuse, and family court dynamics.

Multi-Layered Analysis The AI cross-references screener data against known patterns of preventable trauma in high-conflict custody cases and evidence-based research on child and family psychological impact.

Output & Recommendations The AI generates a clear, structured report that includes a summary of identified trauma risks, strength and severity ratings, specific practical recommendations, and suggested next steps for safety planning and documentation.

Human Oversight & Validation Every AI-generated report is reviewed and approved by a certified advocate or Review Board member. The AI is a supportive tool — never a replacement for professional judgment, empathy, or ethical decision-making.

Key Benefits

  • Delivers comprehensive case insights in minutes instead of hours

  • Ensures consistency by applying the same evidence-based standards across all cases

  • Spots subtle patterns that even experienced advocates might miss

  • Serves as an excellent training tool for new advocates

Ethical Safeguards

  • Strict privacy and confidentiality protocols

  • Regular review and updating of AI prompts by our team

  • Advocates are trained to never use AI outputs as standalone “evidence” in court without proper human validation

This methodology transforms our screeners from static checklists into a dynamic, intelligent system that helps advocates provide truly effective, trauma-informed support.

Objectives

1) Deliver Immediate Impact Offer validated screeners and assessment tools that rapidly identify areas of harm, damage, or trauma that can be prevented in family conflicts or court cases.

3) Promote Best Practices Unify evidence-based screening tools, AI analysis, and trauma-informed protocols with established child protection standards, rights, and legal frameworks across the United States.

4) Drive Systemic Change Track data through our Task Force, publish findings publicly, and advocate for trauma-informed alternatives to traditional family court processes.

5) Support Sustainable Advocacy Create referral pathways, professional development opportunities, and a supportive community so certified advocates can build successful practices while protecting children and parental rights.
